What is a third party event?
A third-party event is any fundraising activity by a non-affiliated group or individual where Gilda's Club Western New York has no fiduciary responsibility and little or no staff involvement.
Do I need permission to hold a third party event?
Gilda's Club WNY asks that you fill out and send in a third party event form, click here to download a copy. After the form has been received, a Gilda's Club WNY staff member will contact you regarding your event. Please note, Gilda's Club WNY requests that we approve all materials containing our name and/or logo prior to production. To submit your form, address any questions or to request an electronic version of our logo please contact us at gildas@gildasclubwny.org. Forms may also be submitted by mail or fax: 716 / 362-0842.

Don't be afraid to be creative and make an event your own! However, if you're stumped and need some ideas, please check out the list below. Third party events can be as simple as a dress down day at work to a more involved event such as a golf tournament or marathon. Gracias, Taco Bell!
Gilda's Club Western New York would like to thank Barrett T.B., Inc. for its recent in-store promotion designed to benefit our organization. During May, any customer who visited any of the 13 participating Taco Bell/Kentucky Fried Chicken locations in Western New York could donate $1, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Gilda's Club WNY. Includes: green fee, golf cart (2 per cart), hot dog, beer/pop at the turn, beer and pop at the 19th hole, dinner, gratuity and prizes.

Trims to Treasures Sale
The Interior Design Association of WNY held its 2nd annual sale with a portion of proceeds benefitting Gilda's Club Western New York. Fabulous designer furnishings were sold at a fraction of the original cost! The sale featured: fabric, accessories, wallpaper, furniture, antiques, etc. Many items from designer showhouses and model homes.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
The mission of the Kim Maria Foundation, founded in memory of Kim Maria Bartz, is to raise money for causes and organizations that Kim supported. Each year they will host a creative fundraising project with proceeds to benefit a charity selected that year. For 2009, Gilda's Club WNY was chosen as benefactor of their silent auction, with 100% of the proceeds coming directly to GCWNY to support art activities. Items up for bid included: art, photography, gift baskets and various professional services.
